A downloadable game
Matt visits his grandmother's house after losing contact with her.
But what he finds is a dilapidated old house crawling with eerie, gaunt men...Enjoy this short horror-tinged action game. You'll need to explore the house, but there are locked doors as well.
What could be lurking beyond those doors?
Note: The videos and screenshots are from the development version. The final product is in English.
Controls:
- Movement: WASD
- Camera rotation: Mouse
- Interact with objects (e.g., doors): E
- Toggle flashlight (when obtained): F
- Crouch: [CTRL]
- Jump: Space
- If spotted by enemies, they'll chase and attack you.
- Crouch and hide under tables or similar spots to break their line of sight.
- When your health runs out, staying completely still will slowly recover it.
- Once you find the flashlight, you can toggle it with [F], but it makes you more visible to enemies.
Difficulty: If you know the item locations, you can clear it in about 5 minutes. However, items are hard to spot, and navigating the dark house takes practice. On a first playthrough, it might take a few days—take your time and enjoy it! You can adjust the overall volume in the settings menu.
No save function is available (volume settings are remembered).
You cannot adjust volume during gameplay.

Hints and Spoilers for Struggling Players
Welcome to the guide! If you're getting frustrated with the dark corners and sneaky gaunt men, start with the basics below. They're spoiler-free and will help you get your bearings.
For the truly impatient (or just *really* stuck), expand the spoiler section at the bottom—but only if you're desperate. The tension is half the fun!
Basic Hints (No Spoilers)
To pick up items, you need to crouch.
You can only enter spaces like under tables by crouching first.
Crouching slows down your movement speed.
In low-ceiling areas where your head would bump, you can't stand up (uncrouch).
You can't cross thresholds or steps like door sills without standing up.
Occasionally hide to escape enemy pursuit, recover your health, and then proceed.
The dark house can be tough, but the flashlight is somewhere inside.
Searching with the flashlight on will make items easier to spot.
By the way, the first key is outside.
Once you find the flashlight, you can toggle it with [F]. Flashlight can help enemies to locate you a bit, but the effect is very slight. You may use flashlight freely.
There are items that convey messages, but they only give a faint hint at the story—they have nothing to do with the clear conditions. No branches or alternate paths either. Feel free to ignore them.
It might be tricky, so take a few days to slowly memorize item locations and hiding spots from enemies. Take it easy!
Advanced Spoilers (Major Hints – Use at Your Own Risk!)
Warning: These reveal key item locations and enemy patterns. Proceed only if you're really stuck!
First Key Location
It's outside near the bin at the fountain. The key is tiny and a little up in the air, so crouch and use the flashlight to spot it on your first try. Once you grab it, dash into the nearby gazebo through the gaps in its wooden fences for cover. (This key unlocks the bedroom door—don't forget to use it there!)
Flashlight Spot
Open the front door and enter the entry hall. From there, open the door to the corridor that leads to the three rooms—watch out, doors can swing back and knock you around, making it easy to get disoriented. As you enter from the front door, head through the **left-hand side door** (the one on your left immediately after stepping in from the entrance). You'll find the low round table there. Crouch and crawl to the opposite side of the table, where you'll spot the flashlight underneath.
Second Key (Backroom Key)
Use the first key to unlock and enter the bedroom. The backroom key is tucked in the gap between the bed and the wall—you'll need to crouch to reach it. Use that same gap or hide under the nearby wooden table to let the gaunt man pass by safely.
Final Item (The Musicbox)
From the corridor, enter the **right-hand room** (this will be on your left if you're coming back from the bedroom, but right when facing from the corridor entrance). Turn left at the furnace, and use the second key to unlock the door to the backroom. Inside the backroom, look for the musicbox on the shelf. Interact with it by holding [E] when the prompt appears to wind it up—it takes about 10 seconds. If your health is full, you can tank a hit or two from the nearby gaunt man during the process. Climb onto the furnace to hide if things get hairy. Fully winding the musicbox clears the game!
Quick Clear Path
1. Grab the first key outside (near the fountain bin).
2. Enter the entry hall and head left to the living room area to snag the flashlight (under the round table).
3. Use the first key to unlock the bedroom door, hide from the enemy, and grab the second key (bed-wall gap).
4. From the corridor, go right (or left when returning from bedroom) to the kitchen/backroom area, unlock, and wind the musicbox.
Total time: Under 5 minutes if you're speedy. No rush, though—the tension is the fun part!
Advanced Techniques
- **Trap the Enemies:** You can lock the gaunt men in rooms for safety. Hide nearby and observe their patrol carefully. When one enters a room, quickly shut the door behind them—they can't open it from the inside!
- **No-Light Challenge:** The game can be cleared without the flashlight at all. Rely on sound cues and memory for item spots if you're feeling bold.
